RESEARCH & DISCOVERIES
Investigating mechanisms of genome stability to provide breakthroughs in cancer research
POLY(ADP-RIBOSE)Â REACTIONS IN DNA REPLICATION AND DNA DAMAGE REPAIR
We investigate the molecular mechanisms of DNA repair and DNA replication controlled by PARPs and ADP-ribosyl hydrolases.
SEARCHING FOR NOVEL BIOMARKERS AND DRUG TARGETS FOR CANCER THERAPY
We aim to unveil novel biomarkers of tumor diseases that may predict response of cancer cells to therapy. In addition, we investigate new druggable targets for tumors showing primary and/or adaptive resistance to chemo- and/or radiotherapy
INVESTIGATING NOVEL COMBINATION THERAPIES FOR CANCER TREATMENT
By exploiting our basic research projects, we combine standard and precision oncology approaches in order to improve the effectiveness of therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment
FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS TO DISSECT TUMOR CLONALITY
By applying genomic approaches, we aim to map the mutational signatures of tumors in order to dissect cancer evolution
SARS-COV-2
We aim to investigate the molecular mechanisms of ADP-ribosylation involved in SARS-CoV-2 infection
